The Green Party of Monroe County will be hosting a talk on affordable renewable energy sources for the home and business on Monday, February 14th at 7pm at 179 Atlantic Avenue. Presenting will be Shawn Lessord of Quality Solar Concepts.

Local Green Party to Host Talk on Solar & Wind Power
in the Home and at Work

(Rochester)  The Green Party of Monroe County will be hosting a talk on affordable renewable energy sources for the home and business on Monday, February 14th at 7pm at 179 Atlantic Avenue.  Presenting will be Shawn Lessord of Quality Solar Concepts.

Mr. Lessord, a senior partner at Quality Solar Concepts, will be discussing the improvements in renewable energy technology, as well as explaining the benefits of installing renewable energy resources in your home, the different options and how each works. 

As well as being a businessman, Mr. Lessord is known for his environmental activism as he is one of the leaders of Residents Environmentally Acting for Change (REACH) which has been fighting for and winning the clean-up of a number of toxic sites in the Brockport area.

Following this presentation, upcoming elections and other Green actions will be worked on.
